Seasonal
Home Decor
Seasonal home decor and holiday stockings developed with a focus on emotional storytelling, materiality, and interactive detail. Over the course of my tenure at Pottery Barn Kids, I managed the design and production of nearly 100 new stocking styles annually across seven categories. The work balanced concept development, technical execution, and commercialization to create heirloom-inspired products designed for both retail impact and family tradition.

The goal of this project was to elevate traditional holiday stockings through an interactive feature that felt magical, premium, and family-oriented while still meeting the safety, durability, and production requirements of children’s home products. Developed for Pottery Barn Kids in collaboration with Amanda Edwards, the concept focused on creating a more emotionally engaging gifting experience through integrated illuminated functionality and thoughtful product storytelling.
Together, we led the innovation and technical development of the feature from concept through patent approval, balancing engineering feasibility, manufacturability, and retail scalability throughout the process. The final product transformed a classic seasonal category into a more immersive and interactive
