About Triyo

Triyo isn’t like my other projects. It’s not a client brief or a seasonal campaign—it’s a passion project, a personal creative outlet, and a response to something deeper.

I created Triyo out of a quiet discomfort, the kind you carry when you show up somewhere and don’t feel like yourself in what you’re wearing. When I first moved to the coast, I often felt out of place at the beach. I couldn’t find swimwear that felt like me; something simple, elegant, and easy, without the pressure to perform or fit in.

Triyo was born from that feeling. From the hope that getting dressed for the beach could feel less intimidating and more empowering. I wanted to design pieces that supported confidence rather than competed with it in natural, feminine silhouettes that feel effortless to wear.

This brand is for anyone who’s ever struggled to feel at home in their own skin. It’s not just about swimwear, it’s about showing up fully, feeling good in your body, and owning your space with quiet confidence.

As a self-funded, self-led project, Triyo came with all the usual startup challenges—budget constraints, production logistics, and wearing every hat. But the biggest challenge was building a brand that felt emotionally resonant without relying on traditional swimwear marketing tropes.

Every creative decision from casting, to fabric, to tone of voice had to reflect that deeper mission: creating space for women to feel at ease in their own skin.

creative  strategy

Triyo’s visual and design strategy leans into softness, both in tone and silhouette. I wanted to create a brand that felt coastal, minimal, and intimate. The color palette is grounded in nature: black sand, sea glass, sun-faded blues. Styling is clean but feminine, with quiet details like beading, curved necklines, and feminine ties.

The brand tone is warm, reassuring, and real. We speak to women the way we speak to ourselves on our best days—with ease, encouragement, and clarity.

design process

Each piece was designed with movement, comfort, and simplicity in mind. I sketched, fit, and refined the silhouettes myself, focusing on lines that flatter without over-designing. Every style is meant to mix and match across seasons and body types, built to evolve alongside the woman wearing it.

I sourced high-quality, double-lined fabrics and worked closely with a local sample maker to ensure the construction held up to both ocean water and everyday wear.
